When giving a injection can the are be cleansed with alcohol acetone prep pads?

Um sweety acetone and alcohol are completely different.Acetone emoves finger nail polish and should not be used to cleanse an injection site,however, rubbing alcohol is perfectly acceptable. just swab the area and let it air dry, then the injection can be given.
