No - acai berry is a waste of money and doesn't work, and not eating will only make you ill.

there are a lot of scams around - type in ';acai berry scams'; to the search for questions and read answers.

All you need to lose weight is a good healthy diet and exercise :)Im doing the acai berry cleanse 48 hour diet any body done it before?
The fact that you are starving is why you will loose any weight if you do.

If Acai berry worked, then spammers would not be constantly trying to sell it - Doctors would be prescribing it to everyone who needed to loose weight.

Your best solution is to simply do as you are doing now - Eating less. If believing in Acai berry makes you feel better, then carry on, but it does not actually make any difference to the amount of weight you loose, it just might make it a little easier for you to try and keep your mind off how hungry you are...

Good luck with the diet, whether with Acai berry or not!
Cold hard fact. Diets fail 50% of the time due to poor/no exercise. If your diet leaves you to tired to exercise due to not enough energy. It's BAD on your body. If you can maintain a healthy diet and work out every day (without any complications such as thyroid issues) then you WILL loose weight! Diets are just half the battle, you need to stay active and keep away from sugar!

If you really are dedicated to loosing the weight, My suggestion is Low (thats LOW not NO) carb, High fiber, healthy amounts of Protein, and NO sugar. I generally only have around 1300-1500 calories, and about 50g carbs a day. (thats just me though)

This means NO microwavable dinners WHATSOEVER! Those things are packed with sodium and other crap your body doesn't need. If it's a ';ready to eat in minutes'; meal, it's probably not good for you.

As far a bread goes, high fiber whole wheat is best, but most whole wheat is okay. No white bread at all!

Protein is important if your exercising, the reason is your muscle needs protein to grow, if there is no protein, then no muscle build. Building muscle helps burn calories. I'm about 80% weight training, and 20% cardio training. For women is fine to flip that, but remember, the more muscle you have, the more calories your going to burn during the day. Cardio is good to burn calories and obviously keep a healthy heart.

If you follow these things and NEVER cheat on your body, you will loose that weight. Just don't expect things to happen overnight.
Any diet where you starve yourself is bad. You will probably just gain more weight when you start eating again.
Any fast weight loss schemes are a scam. you need to change your eating habits. Why do you need to lose weight so fast? Why not adapt a lifestyle that will be maintainable rather than head into a yo yo system that will keep you miserable. My advice is to

Stop eating the following:

refined sugar

pre-packaged foods

white flour

All soft drinks

Sunny D is a soft drink without bubbles! That has to go too.

DO eat:

Lots of fruit and veg. eat carrot sticks, an apple, an orange, grapes, or a banana instead of some candy bar or chips for a snack. Nothing wrong with homemade popcorn.

Drink lots of water with a snack. This will help your craving feeling.

Honey is lovely and sweet. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches (with a bit of butter on the honey side to help the honey not crystallize in the bread) are lovely and will stick with you. You can also put peanut butter on banana or apple slices. Use the peanut butter that is made from only peanuts, as opposed to jiffy or another sort that is filled up with other oils, sugar and salt. A good breakfast food is also Oatmeal with mascabado sugar (see below). Add raisins or apple. Use the slow cooking sort - it has a lower glycemic index.

Try eating your warm meal at lunchtime. If you are in school, don't eat the school lunches. They are usually junk. Soup and a salad or sandwich for dinner and don't eat too late.

If you feel like chewing, chew sugar free gum with Xylitol. This will also help protect your teeth. There are also candies made with Xylitol, but you can't eat too many or you'll get the runs.

Make your own cookies with mascabado sugar. This is dehydrated cane juice and although it's sugar, it has all the other stuff usually in cane juice. Brown sugar is just white sugar with a bit of the stuff they took out put back in, so avoid it too.

Use butter, but moderately. Avoid margarine. You don't want to know all the things they do to the vegetable oil to make it solid.

And exercise a bit. Take a bike instead of driving when it's good weather. leave earlier to walk where you're going if it's up to 5km.

Good luck!
I haven't tried it, but I've heard that it works.

and OMG YES eat!! lol it's sooo not healthy for you to not

eat. Any just to let you know, if you don't eat then you end

up gainging more weight. The reason why is because when

you finally do eat, your body will be so hungry that it will

save ALL the food, good and bad, instead of getting rid of

the bad food. (fat, calories..Etc) So eat small meals very

often through out the day, just make sure they're healthy:)

good luck!
