Hi - I did the Master Cleanse in January and had a great experience. The salt water flush is basically a laxative you take orally. When you fast, your digestive system slows waaaay down, so you won't have regular bowel movements on your own. Since getting rid of waste is a big part in cleansing, you need to encourage your bowels to move. The laxative tea at night does just that, but since you're not eating anything your bowels don't have a lot of substance to ';push'; out. The salt water flush is sort of like an internal car wash - it's a big flush of water that helps wash out what you've been cleansing from the rest of your body. It isn't the easiest part of the cleanse, but it gets soooo much easier by the third or fourth time. I wouldn't recommend eliminating it from your cleanse...you just won't get the same effects.

Must hydrate! Google watercure and Celtic sea salt. Imperative to health and it's cheap and easy! You will wish you knew this Long ago. Good Luck and Good health!
A dose of salt will make you go in a snap. Adding salt to water and drinking it usually makes you sick on your stomach, sure you want to try this. Cleansing the colon can be done gentler with Dandelion leaf and/or Dandelion root and it cleanses the lymphatic and endocrine system too, plus purifies the blood.
