Is there a type of shampoo that will truly CLEAN your hair.. stripping out all the chemicals/hair spray/conditioner that has built up on it? preferably something not too terribly expensive..Is there some sort of shampoo that will cleanse out all the ';junk'; that has accumulated in your hair?
Besides a clarifying shampoo or conditioner, or apple cider vinegar, you can also use baking soda as a natural clarifyer. Add some baking soda to your shampoo and this will clarify your hair. This is the cheapest way if you have baking soda around the house. This can dry out your hair so follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner to replenish the moisture. Using too little baking soda might not work, though, but using too much could over-dry your hair. Don't do this too often because the dry effects can begin to effect your scalp if used regularly over a long period of time. Like once or twice a month might be okay.Is there some sort of shampoo that will cleanse out all the ';junk'; that has accumulated in your hair?
All shampoo cleans your hair. But if you are using any product like gel or hairspray on your hair you need to shampoo twice. The first time gets the product off. The second shampoo lifts the outer layer of your hair up and the molecules attach themselves to the dirt and oils in your hair, coming out when you rinse. If you are shampooing twice already and it isn't working you need to use a salon quality cleansing shampoo. it actually doesn't cost that much more: because it is a better product you don't have to use nearly as much, so it lasts longer than cheap shampoo does, about twice as long.
Elana Cuticle Compacting Shampoo ($10) and Elana Restructuring Compactor ($20) are the absolute best I have found. You use very sparingly and only about once a month, depending on your styling methods and build up. They are a little pricey but one bottle of each has lasted me a year. Check around to your higher end salons to find it, I purchase it at Savoie Salon in Dallas, www.savoiesalon.com and have been very pleased. I have tried many products out there.
I also suggest finding your top two favorite shampoos and alternating between them to create less build up.
I use this avon shampoo every once in a while. It strips your hair or any chlorine but even if i haven't been swimming it makes my hair feel soo clean. Its called ';detoxifier';
But make sure whichever one you get you dont overuse; shampoos that thouroughly clean your hair will eventually dry it out and make it very coarse and brittle
I use tons of product in my hair every morning and I only was my hair every other day cause it is easier but I use pantene pro v and I only have to use I little and it gets every product out of my hair.
