Master Cleanse or strict diet and heavy exercise?

Hey! I have to make lightweight for my sport (rowing) by September. What do you suggest? I was thinking about doing the Master Cleanse for ten days or more to prepare myself for a healthier, stricter diet. Or I could jump into exercising three hours a day (running, circuit training) and eating only lean protein, veggies, and water.
