Its pretty much psychological getting thru those first couple days. Your body is used to putting food in its mouth and so is your brain. You are getting 1300 calories a day from the diet if you are doing it right and You can do it for as little as 10 days as long as you come off of it right. Did you do the salt water in the morning and the tea at night to clean your colon? You just have to get it in your mind that you are getting all the calories that you need to survive and all your minerals.
My daughter did it for 3 weeks and still worked out and went to work and lost 24 lbs.
