xHow often should i cleanse,tone,moisturise?
Hi,
You should cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily. You should put the blackhead cream on after you've cleansed, toned and moisturise, unless the instructions on it say otherwise. Another cream that is great for spots is Quinoderm, or any other acne cream that contains Benzoyl Peroxide - it works wonders for me! Oh, and I've recently discovered that toothpaste is really good for those red spots too (I have some on now!).
To get rid of your blackheads more effectively, I suggest steaming your face and then gently squeezing them. It leaves your nose a bit red for a couple of hours but is the only thing that works for me!

No need for toner! Toner strips your skin and dries it out making your skin produce more oil.
Morning Wash your face with just warm water pat dry and apply a little moisturizer i use Simple 'Light moisturizer',.
In the evening do your deeper cleanse, wash your face with a mild cleanser, i use 'Simple' face wash, pat dry and moisturize with Simple 'Rich moisturizer'
Exfoliate once a week with Simple gentle exfoliater. I normally do mine every Sunday, ready for the week ahead.
I use Simple as it is not expensive plus it has no nasty stuff in it to upset your skin.
If you live in the UK then they sell it in most supermarkets and shops eg. Boots, superdrugs, plus its normally buy 2 for 拢4!! bargin
I have mild adult acne and this seems to keep my skin under control, I did have bad spotty itchy skin on my face, so I went 2 weeks with no make ( very hard to do!!!) but now my skin is soooo much better, i mix a little St Tropez face tanner in with my morning moisturizing so i dont look to pale.
Just give it time and Im pretty sure this routine will help, just try not to wear make up for a few weeks to give your skin a rest.
it should be done at least once everyday....personally i do it twice a day.
i always cleanse, tone then moisturise before i go to bed, Then in the morning i cleanse and then sometime moisturise....i have to be careful as sometimes when i moisturise my skin goes really shiny,.
Go get a facial and ask them for skin specific products. if you have oily skin, its because your skin is dry, and it produces oil to take away dryness. what i do, is wash once a day, afterwards tone. i have a complex clarifying gel. Then immediately apply moisteriser. i tone and moisterise twice daily. and it really worked
cleanse, tone, moisturise daily but get rid of the blackheads first. Gentle exfoliation when they're gone might help but ensure you do not use heavy creams as they might be blocking the pores and causing blackheads.
You don't do that stuff at night, you do it daily. At night you use some sort of cleanser though to wash away that days makeup and dirt and oil gathered on your face.
Every night! Don't forget to exfoliate about twice a week too. You should moisturise in the morning also x
cleanse and moisturize twice a day
but tone once a day
if the cream you use for black heads isnt working try something else
every morning and every night. Make sure you have the right type of cosmetics that will suit your skin.
Well this is a common problem %26amp; even I have faced it.Lets tackle your black heads first.Steam your face with a face steamer, until sweat begins to pour out, pat dry %26amp; use a facial scrub suited to your skin type.If you are not too sure, check with a dermatologist. This is something which you can do every 3 days for the first 2 weeks %26amp; then onwards once weekly.Apply the scrub a little vigorous over the black heads region.Just make sure, you don't scrub so hard that you redden your face.
You can cleanse your face before taking the steam %26amp; tone %26amp; moisturize after.Toning reduces the size of the open pores. The next step is to apply the moisturizer.Try and use one which is oil-based %26amp; has vitamin 'e'. If you don't use an under eye gel, your moisturizer can double for it.use your 3rd finger to apply under eyes, since this finger exerts the least amount of pressure.Too much pressure can stretch or wrinkle the skin.
Now to your question of CTM.This has to be done on a nightly basis.Cleanse %26amp; tone as usual. If your medicated cream has to be spread all over the face, then you can skip out the moisturizer.Just do the under eyes bit.Now if your medicine is only on spot application, then use a light water based moisturizwer %26amp; spread in a thin film all over your face, once it dries off, apply the medicated cream. As a rule( what I know off) all medicated creams are not meant for prolonged use. They usually start of with every day application for 1 week at the most 2 weeks, after which the next 1 week it is applied on alternative days, then once in 3 days %26amp; so on, till the tube of cream is finished.Never go overboard with the medicated creams, since they might have long terms effects which might harm you.
Finally everyday, before stepping out, after your moisturize, use a sunscreen lotion/cream.This not only protects against UV rays, but also against UU rays.
